Smooth, dewy, unblemished – Izara Aishah’s skin is enviable. Now, the 25-year-old actress has shared the secret to her porcelain complexion, and it’s simpler than anyone thinks.

“After cleansing my skin, I don’t wipe my face with a towel, I use a tissue,” she said. “When you have wiped your whole body with a towel and then wipe your face with it, you might dirty your skin.” Izara adds that it’s very important to wash our face every night before bed.

Izara, who married businessman Adib Khalid in Nov 2017, also revealed how Ramadan has been for her in 2018.

“It’s been a sweet experience. This is my first Ramadan with Adib as husband and wife. I feel so mature. I cook and prepare everything before waking my husband up for sahur,” she said

“I cook simple dishes. He’s not picky thankfully. He just doesn’t like dishes that have vegetables in them.” Izara’s specialties include nasi paprik, ayam masak merah and butter chicken.

This month, Izara – who shot to fame in the 2011 TV series Vanilla Coklat – starts filming a 100-episode soap series, Jodoh-Jodoh Anisa, that’s scheduled to wrap in 2019.

“Balancing work and family is not easy, but my husband is very understanding,” she said. “I shot a 13-episode drama recently and got an idea (of what it takes). I was thinking of my husband’s needs while at work. Towards the end of the filming, I think we’ve learned to adapt.”
