American actor-director Tom Welling drew attention online after he shared a photo taken from his New York hotel room that accidentally revealed his bare body in the reflection.
Welling, best known for his roles in the TV series Smallville and Lucifer, took to his Instagram page on Saturday, Oct 10, to share a snap of the view from his hotel room ahead of his appearance at the New York Comic Con (NYCC).
“Hello NYCC,” he captioned the photo.
However, netizens noticed the reflection in the hotel window which appeared to show Welling naked. Welling has since removed the photo from his page.
Hours later, Welling took the stage at the NYCC, reuniting with his Smallville co-stars Michael Rosenbaum, Kristin Kreuk and Erica Durance for The Road to Superman: 25 Years Of Smallville panel.
While he did not publicly speak about the photo mishap, Welling appeared to poke fun at it by reposting on his Instagram Stories a photo shared by Rosenbaum that jokingly mimicked his hotel-room snap.
“Just looking after my boy,” Rosenbaum quipped.
Welling portrayed the role of Clark Kent in Smallville, which aired for 10 seasons from 2001 to 2011. – Philippine Daily Inquirer/ANN
