Malaysian actress and model Lin Min Chen has been making the most of her Japan trip, from sightseeing and posing for photos to attending classes.

The 36-year-old recently shared several snapshots from her holiday, including one rather unexpected moment outside Tokyo’s famous Sensoji Temple in Asakusa.

Apparently tired from exploring, the Hong Kong-based actress was photographed lying on the ground outside the temple and using a large plastic bag filled with her belongings as a makeshift pillow.

The unusual sight amused netizens, with some jokingly teasing her for “soaking up the temple’s spiritual energy”.

In other photos, she showed off her carefree side as she relaxed outside the temple.

Lin captioned the photos: “I didn’t even look up, and the stars still caught me.”

The Haunting Call actress also shared a more glamorous look in a floral spaghetti-strap dress.

But her Japan itinerary has been about more than sightseeing.

In a later post, Lin shared a video titled "Spend a day with me in Tokyo", where she documents her attending a class, followed by grocery shopping, returning to where she was staying, cooking herself a meal and finally hitting the gym.

China Press also reported that Lin attended a beginner barista skills course, learning how to identify different coffee aromas.

Lin appeared to be taking the course seriously, stated China Press, speculating if perhaps she has bigger plans in mind like opening her own coffee shop in the future.
