Hong Kong actress Maggie Cheung Ho Yee was recently in Malaysia to attend the 9th Malaysia International Film Festival in Kuala Lumpur.

After fulfilling her work commitments, the 57-year-old made her way to Penang, where she took the opportunity to explore the state and soak in its sights.

Documenting her trip in a Xiaohongshu post, Cheung shared photos of herself posing along Love Lane in George Town's heritage zone.

The former TVB star later headed to Batu Ferringhi, where she enjoyed the scenic view of the beach, fireworks and a fire dance performance.

Despite dressing simply in a white blouse and denim jeans, Cheung's star power remained undeniable, with netizens praising her elegant and youthful appearance.

Many also noted her slim figure, marvelling at how well she has preserved her features over the years.

Cheung rose to fame after ranking as a finalist in the 1994 Miss Hong Kong beauty pageant, before going on to star in popular dramas like War And Beauty, Forensic Heroes III and more.

In recent years, she has taken a step back from acting, shifting her focus to the mainland Chinese market and making occasional appearances on variety shows.

Reports indicate that Cheung is currently embracing a simpler, semi-retired lifestyle, often sharing vlogs and glimpses of her daily life on social media.
