Grammy winner Toni Braxton has to pay nearly US$600,000 for three years of back taxes, now that she’s finally settled a federal tax lien.
A rep for the Breathe Again hitmaker, 59, told TMZ that Braxton has settled the US$598,624 debt she owed to the IRS.
Official records viewed by the outlet shows that Braxton, who has twice filed for bankruptcy, had to pay US$69,390 for the year 2022, US$278,876 for 2023, and US$250,358 for 2024.
The Daily News has reached out to a rep for Braxton.
The Un-Break My Heart crooner first filed for bankruptcy in 1998 and again in 2010, when Braxton said her debt amounted to a whopping US$10mil to US$50mil.

The latest development in Braxton’s finances comes a little over a year after news broke that she and “dearest, dearest friend” Birdman had secretly wed in August 2024.
Braxton and the 57-year-old rapper were engaged toward the end of the 2010s and on-and-off in the ensuing years, only to get back together in late 2023.
Despite TMZ reporting in spring 2025 that they’d filed for divorce two weeks after tying the knot, both Braxton and Birdman’s IMDb pages list them as married.
