Hong Kong actor Mat Yeung is proving he's not afraid to get his hands dirty at his new business venture in Petaling Jaya.

The TVB star recently opened a Hong Kong-style roast meat restaurant located along Jalan SS2/66 and has been personally helping out on the restaurant floor, serving customers and making sure everything runs smoothly.

His hands-on approach comes despite previously suffering losses from an earlier stew soup business in Hong Kong. Undeterred by the setback, Yeung has ventured back into the food and beverage industry, believing that success requires hard work.

As reported by China Press, a female diner recently shared her experience on social media after visiting the restaurant, where she was surprised to see Yeung working in full staff uniform.

According to her post, the actor was constantly on the move, working both inside and outside the restaurant.

Besides assisting with operations, he was seen preparing hot water for tea for customers waiting in line before returning indoors to serve diners.

She captioned her video: "The best thing about this meal wasn't the roast meat – it was unexpectedly meeting Hong Kong star Mat Yeung.

"I only wanted to try the roast meat restaurant that everyone has been talking about lately. But as soon as I arrived, I thought the owner looked so familiar. When I took a closer look, I realised it was Hong Kong actor Mat Yeung."

The diner also said Yeung was friendly and approachable in person, even obliging for a photo together when he stopped by the table.

The video quickly drew a flood of positive comments, with many netizens applauding Yeung for personally serving customers instead of staying behind the scenes.

"He's not only handsome but also very friendly," one commenter wrote, while others said they planned to visit the restaurant to support him, describing the actor as "super nice" and "so handsome".

However, Yeung will be taking a short break from his restaurant duties this weekend as he prepares for another major milestone – his wedding to Malaysian model-actress Lisa Ch’ng. The couple is set to tie the knot in Kuala Lumpur on Aug 2.
