Kid Rock says he calls President Donald Trump in the middle of the night while drinking because he knows the president will answer.

“If I’m sitting around having some beers if it’s like 11,12, on a Friday or Saturday, I know he’s up,” the MAGA musician told Australian station Sky News.

He calls texting and chatting with Trump “one of my late night drinking tricks” because he knows when the 80-year-old president will be accessible.

“He’s so gracious, he always picks up or he’ll call and check in just to shoot the s–,” Rock said.

According to the 55-year-old Batwitdaba singer, Trump doesn’t consult him on matters of national security, though Rock admitted in a 2022 interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson that the president did ask for his thoughts on such matters during a White House visit.

“I don’t think I’m qualified to answer this,” he recalled.

Rock told Sky News that having a relationship with the country’s 47th president is "(expletive) awesome.”

He added that it helps that both men only sleep about five hours each night.

“I enjoy the hell out of hanging out with him and talking with him and just having a front row seat to the greatest s– show on Earth,” Rock boasted.

The Michigan native born Robert James Ritchie has long been a Trump supporter. He’s joined Trump at events and performed at the 2024 Republican National Convention, where Trump received the GOP’s presidential nomination for the third time.

“His concern is for this country, period,” Rock told Sky News. – New York Daily News/TNS
