Thai actress Christine Gulasatree has revealed that she was the victim of sexual assault by a rescue worker who came to her home on March 31 during a medical emergency.

According to reports, the incident occurred in the early hours of the morning in her bedroom after the 30-year-old called for assistance due to severe breathing difficulties.

“I had difficulty breathing. I’m not sure if it was due to some allergy medication I took… Around 3am, I really couldn’t take it anymore,” she shared on her Instagram.

Thai media reported that the rescue worker arrived with an emergency unit to transport her, but instead allegedly took advantage of her disoriented state.

“I felt dizzy and disoriented, but I wasn’t unconscious; I was fully aware of everything,” the actress said in an article by Kbizoom.

“While I was alone with him, he removed part of my clothing, touched sensitive parts of my body and took nude photos of me,” she said.

A friend who became aware of her condition later contacted the authorities.

When security personnel and police arrived, the individual allegedly attempted to cover up his actions by dressing her and pretending to provide medical assistance.

Following the incident, Gulasatree lodged a police report. The suspect, a 43-year-old man, was arrested on Friday (April 3).

According to The Bangkok Post, he has admitted to indecently assaulting the actress and taking explicit photos, which he later deleted after learning that she had filed a complaint.

Gulasatree took to Instagram the same day to thank those who supported her, including police officers, members of the media and her fans.

“No matter what happens, I hope everyone believes in themselves and has the courage to stand up and protect themselves, even in the face of criticism or public pressure,” she wrote.

“If you hold the truth, please have faith in yourself, because the truth will always remain the truth.”
