Jordan James Parke, a British man who dubbed himself the “Lip King” and starred on the reality series Botched, has died. He was 34.

Parke’s death may have followed a recent cosmetic procedure, London police told the BBC. Two people have been arrested and charged with manslaughter in the case.

The suspects, a 43-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman, were detained Friday (Feb 20), according to People magazine. They have since posted bail and been released.

Parke was notorious for undergoing numerous cosmetic surgeries. By age 23, he’d already made international headlines for spending more than US$150,000 on his face in an effort to look like Kim Kardashian.

The Manchester native parlayed his reputation into multiple appearances on the E! Network show Botched, which followed disastrous plastic surgeries. He also created an online persona and gave himself the nickname “Lip King” for his exaggerated facial features.

London police categorised Parke’s death as “unexplained” and the circumstances remain under investigation, the BBC reported.

“There will be some unkind messages that will be posted regarding this heartbreaking news,” Parke’s sister, Sharnelle, wrote on social media. “But please if you knew Jordan you will know that none of what will be posted is true and please keep him in your heart!”

Parke was previously investigated for a plastic surgery disaster at a clinic he ran in 2024. A 33-year-old woman, Alice Webb, died following a non-surgical Brazilian butt lift at the clinic, but Parke was not charged in the case. – New York Daily News/Tribune News Service
