The Blind Side star Quinton Aaron is on life support after collapsing at his home.

Quinton’s wife, Margarita, says that while medical devices are supporting him, the actor is able to breathe partially on his own, according to TMZ.

The outlet also reports that after four days in the hospital, the family remains hopeful about his recovery and his condition appears to be improving each day.

“He’s showing a lot of improvement. We all have faith in God that he will walk out of here fully recovered,” Margarita told TMZ.

She also explained that it started when her husband woke up one morning feeling sore, and a few days later, the discomfort worsened as Quinton started losing feeling in his legs while walking up the stairs.

Margarita called 911 after he laid down, struggling to move and slipped in and out of consciousness.

Aaron is also battling a blood infection, and doctors are still running a series of tests to pinpoint the problem.

TMZ reported on Tuesday that doctors found a "rare cyst" on the actor's spine.

This latest health scare follows Aaron’s hospitalisation in February of last year, when he had a high fever that led him to cough up blood.
