Netflix and Nickelodeon voice actor Tony Germano, 55, dies after fall from roof

Tony Germano, a Brazilian actor known for voicing Netflix and Nickelodeon characters, died after suffering a fall from his roof earlier last week, according to reports. He was 55 years old.

Germano was checking in on the renovations at a home in Sao Paulo when he slipped from the roof Wednesday (Nov 26) morning. Per Folha de Sao Paulo, Germano had been staying at his parents’ home in Brazil prior to accident, during which he apparently lost his balance.

A representative for the actor confirmed in a statement to People that Germano “did not survive” the injuries he sustained during the fall.

“Tony leaves behind a legacy of dedication, generosity and immense talent that touched everyone who had the privilege of working with him,” the statement said. “His absence will be deeply felt.”

An actor for more than 30 years, Germano voiced a range of characters on Nickelodeon’s Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn and Disney’s live-action Beauty And The Beast, in addition to Netflix shows like Go, Dog, Go! He also has credits in Elena Of Avalor, The Muppets and Sheriff Callie’s Wild West. – New York Daily News/Tribune News Service
