Kristin Cabot, a former executive of a tech company who went viral for hugging the CEO in a “kiss cam” at Coldplay’s concert, filed for divorce from her husband, according to reports from US media.

Cabot, ex-chief people officer of Astronomer, made headlines after she was seemingly outed for being in an apparent affair with the tech company’s CEO Andy Byron, at Coldplay’s concert last July. This led to both executives resigning from their respective positions.

Two months later, NBC News reported that Cabot is currently in the process of a divorce from her husband, which she filed last Aug 13 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, citing court documents a month later.

A scheduling conference in New Hampshire’s 10th Circuit Court is scheduled for November.

It remains unknown if the divorce has anything to do with the now-viral incident. The US media outlet added that the legal counsels of both camps didn’t respond to requests for comment.

While the viral kiss cam resulted in a series of memes and hilarious remarks on social media, the British rock band remained silent over the matter. – Philippine Daily Inquirer/Asia News Network
