The conflict between popular actress Anna Jobling and her mother, Ariz Arop, continues to be the talk of the town after the latter came forward with an emotional revelation about how her daughter has been allegedly treating her.
In a video uploaded on Instagram Story earlier this week, Ariz claimed she was being treated 'like a stray dog' despite having sacrificed her wealth and energy to ensure the comfort of the Setia Itu Mahal drama actress.
"I have already told her, when you become famous, don’t forget who you are. But when she became famous, she treated me like this. Even though she often gives me money, does she think she can treat me this way?
"I pawned my car, my jewellery, everything, just so I could live with her in Kuala Lumpur. I was her unpaid driver, taking her everywhere," the mother claimed.
Ariz said what began as a minor disagreement between the two escalated when Anna, whose full name is Anna Ellisa Gustin Jobling Abdul Rahman Jobling, called in a lawyer to intervene.
"At first, it was a normal argument over issues we were unhappy with each other about. But the situation worsened to the point where she insulted me and called a lawyer to remove me from the car, as if I were a threat to her life," she explained tearfully.
She added that she never anticipated a grand reward from her daughter, merely wishing to share in her comfort after raising her and supporting her career.
"Soar as high as you wish, but never forget that in every success there is a mother’s prayer," she added.
Previously, the mother-daughter dispute garnered public interest when Ariz disclosed that she had received an injunction order from Anna with a photo of herself at a police station.
To date, Anna has not publicly commented on the situation or released any statements on her social media platforms. – Sinar Daily
