Tom Holland is returning as the web-slinging superhero Spider-Man in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, complete with a brand new suit with a larger spider logo and brighter shades of blue and red.
Holland’s new Spider-Man suit was revealed in a teaser for the upcoming film on Sony Pictures International’s official YouTube channel on Aug 2.
The teaser showed Holland doing a quick warm-up before entering what seemed to be a film set.
“We ready?” he asked before the film’s title card was flashed onscreen.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day will hit theatres on July 31, 2026, as seen in the teaser’s description.
Mark Ruffalo and Michael Mando will be reprising their roles as Bruce Banner/Hulk and Scorpion, according to a report by The Hollywood Reporter.
Further details on the superhero film are yet to be released.
Holland was chosen to take on the mantle of Spider-Man in June 2015, making his first appearance in Captain America: Civil War a year later.
Spider-Man: Homecoming, his first solo film as the popular web-shooter, was released in 2017. It was followed by lead roles in Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Spider-Man: No Way Home. – Philippine Daily Inquirer/Asia News Network
