Hong Kong actress Myolie Wu has broken her silence regarding rumours of infidelity involving her husband, businessman Philip Lee.

Her statement comes nearly two months after photos of Lee, 52, getting chummy with several women and embracing them at a lounge went viral on social media.

At a recent event in Macau, Wu, 45, dismissed the rumours and said the incident was just a misunderstanding.

The former TVB star also clarified that the women seen in the viral images were friends of hers, and their husbands were also present that evening.

"The photos posted were selectively chosen, leading to confusion. There’s absolutely no issues in our relationship,” she added.

Hoping to identify the person behind the photos, Wu said her husband reviewed CCTV footage and discovered that an unknown man had sneaked into the event to take pictures.

She added that while Lee was aware he was being photographed, he didn’t think much of it at the time as he was accustomed to being in the public eye.

Wu then joked that her husband would likely steer clear of similar social settings in the future as his every move is now closely watched.

“There’s nothing we can do. I’m his wife, and every action I take draws attention,” she said.

Meanwhile, Lee has already rubbished rumours of his infidelity earlier in March.

In an Instagram post, Lee said he’s naturally affectionate and added that photo angles can be "very misleading".

Wu and Lee married in 2015 after a year of dating. The couple shares three sons – Brendan, seven, Ryan, five, and Liam, four.
