Filipino TV host Drew Arellano undergoes vasectomy: ‘Advanced Mother’s Day to my wife’

While Drew Arellano and Iya Villania are loving their babies as much as they love making them, the couple appeared to have decided they are happy with having just five, and so the TV host finally had his vasectomy.

The celebrity dad shared a glimpse of his vasectomy procedure on Monday, April 28, where the photo showed him being hooked up with medical tubes.

A vasectomy is a medical procedure for men that prevents the release of sperm by cutting and sealing the vas deferens, which brings the male reproductive cells from the testicles to the urethra. The procedure is considered an effective way to prevent pregnancy due to its permanent effects.

Arellano’s efforts to taking birth control earned praise from his followers in the comments, including fellow celebrities Iza Calzado, Carla Abellana, Isabelle Daza, KC Montero, and Kim Atienza.
