After days of teasing fans, American pop-rock band Maroon 5 hs confirmed that its upcoming single, Priceless, will be a collaboration with K-pop girl group Blackpink’s Lisa.

The band’s official Instagram account posted a video on April 26 of its frontman Adam Levine, 46, dressed in a black suit, at a photo shoot with the Thai idol, who sports an animal-print dress. The caption read: “Priceless featuring Lisa. Pre-save now.”

The video was accompanied with a short snippet of the song, with Levine singing: “Baby, you’re priceless/I’ve never had anything like this.”

A TikTok video was posted on the same day, which showed Levine walking out of an elevator, leaving Lisa in it.

While it is not known when the single will drop, the song can be pre-saved on streaming services.

The reveal of the collaboration comes days after Maroon 5 posted a picture of Levine standing next to a woman, both of their backs to the camera, seemingly teasing a new project.

The woman’s silhouette reminded fans of Lisa. Many felt their suspicions were confirmed when the 28-year-old star’s go-to make-up artist reposted the picture before official confirmation of the tie-up.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show opposite host Jimmy Fallon earlier in April, Levine confirmed that Maroon 5 was working on a new album, a tour slated to kick off later in 2025 and a single slated for the end of April. The band has not released an album since 2021’s Jordi.

Lisa, fresh off starring in Season Three of The White Lotus (2021 to present), recently wrapped up two sets at famed music festival Coachella in California on April 11 and 18.

She released her debut studio album Alter Ego in February, with songs featuring major international artistes like Doja Cat, Raye and Megan Thee Stallion. – The Straits Times/Asia News Network
