Kate Middleton and Prince William shared a rare moment of PDA in a short and sweet Valentine’s Day post, exactly a month after the princess confirmed her cancer is in remission.

The royal couple celebrated the day with a still from their September video announcing the 43-year-old Princess of Wales had completed chemotherapy after an “incredibly tough” nine months.

The snap sees Will, 42, and Kate laughing as they sit on a blanket on a grassy knoll, while they hold hands and he plants a kiss on her cheek, captioned with a simple heart emoji.

Kate announced on Jan 14, days after celebrating her birthday, that she was in remission and felt “relief” as she can now “remain focused on recovery.” The announcement captioned a photo of Kate alongside cancer patients at London’s Royal Marsden hospital, where she sought treatment last year.

In January 2024, Kensington Palace announced Kate would be out of commission until around Easter, following a previously scheduled and successful abdominal surgery.

In late March, amid speculation and conspiracy theories about Kate’s condition, the Princess of Wales shared her cancer diagnosis.

She slowly but surely returned to the public eye and royal duties, announcing in early September with a touching family video – featuring kids Princes George, Louis and Princess Charlotte – that she had completed chemotherapy.

Kate said she was entering “this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life” and thanked all those standing by the family. – New York Daily News/Tribune News Service
