Rose of Blackpink debunked rumours that she is dating The Karate Kid star Jaden Smith, saying he’s only a “good friend” of hers.

Rose recently took on Vanity Fair’s Lie Detector Test, where she was asked about the dating rumours with Smith after one of her latest songs, Toxic Till The End, which is about a toxic ex-partner of hers, was linked to the Hollywood actor.

“Is the song about Jaden Smith?” asked the interviewer.

“No,” Rose answered laughingly. “It’s not about Jaden Smith. He’s a good friend, though.”

She then gave a shoutout to Smith, “Hi, Jaden. Miss you a lot.” before her answer was validated by the Lie Detector Test guy.

“Have you ever dated Jaden Smith?” the interviewer asked anew.

“No,” Rose answered confidently, which was again validated by the Lie Detector Test machine.

Dating rumours between the Apt singer and Smith started after they were spotted together on more than one occasion. The latter has also been photographed with Blackpink members at Coachella 2023.

Meanwhile, Rose is also being linked to Filipino-American model-actor Evan Mock after they were spotted on a “low-key date night.”

The duo previously starred in Rose’s music video for Toxic Till The End, where they portrayed lovers who were stuck in a messy relationship and shared an on-screen kiss.

Rose was also spotted hanging out with Mock’s family in Hawaii during New Year.

As of writing, the pair has yet to address the dating rumors hounding them.

Despite the dating rumours, Rose previously shared in an episode of Therapuss With Jake Shane last November that she is currently single.

Meanwhile, Jaden Smith is the son of celebrity couple Jada Pinkett-Smith and Will Smith. Aside from being a rapper, Jaden made his film debut with his father in the 2006 film The Pursuit Of Happyness and appeared with his father once more in the 2013 film After Earth. – Philippine Daily Inquirer/Asia News Network
