Marvel actor Chris Pratt and his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger announced that they have welcomed their third child, which is also their first baby boy.

Pratt and Schwarzenegger, who are already parents to daughters, Eloise Christina, two, and Lyla Maria, four, posted a joint statement on Instagram, revealing the name of their new baby whom they welcomed on Nov 8.

“We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our son, Ford Fitzgerald Schwarzenegger Pratt. Mama and baby are doing well and Ford’s siblings are thrilled by his arrival. We feel so blessed and grateful. Love, Katherine and Chris,” they captioned their post.

The Jurassic World actor is also a dad to his son Jack, 12, whom he shares with his ex-partner actress Anna Faris.

In July, Pratt confirmed the pregnancy of his wife after he posted a solo photo of Schwarzenegger showing off her baby bump as he also complimented her skills as a party planner.

Pratt and Schwarzenegger started dating in 2018 after the former’s mother set them up. One year later, the pair got engaged and tied the knot in Montecito, California in an intimate ceremony.

Katherine is the daughter of actor Arnold Schwarzenegger. In a previous interview with People magazine, he praised his daughter for her parenting skills.

“It’s nice to see your kids having kids themselves and to watch this new dimension. You see them growing up and you see them going to school and getting smart and getting their degrees, getting their jobs and all this, but now seeing them be a parent?

"It’s fantastic. It’s really great. It’s really fun to watch and hang out with her now and to see the way she’ll react to the kids because she is so great with them,” he shared at the time. – Philippine Daily Inquirer/Asia News Network
