Taiwanese pop star Jolin Tsai appears to have discovered the secret to eternal youth.

The 43-year-old, widely recognised as the "Queen of C-pop", recently gained attention on social media after a netizen shared a throwback photo from their university days together.

In the picture, Tsai, wearing a vibrant red shirt, smiled brightly as she posed next to her friend.

Although more than two decades have passed since then, fans noted that the singer barely changed and looks as though she is in her late twenties.

Many netizens were astonished by how well Tsai takes care of her features while others noted that she resembled her mother.

“The goddess who never ages still looks so stunning,” one netizen commented.

Another added: “She lost her baby fat, but everything else looks the same.”

“She looks like a young Mama Tsai,” said a third.

According to a Singapore beauty magazine, Tsai, who has been in the entertainment industry for over 20 years, has a list of tips to maintain a youthful appearance.

This includes having an effective skincare routine, staying hydrated (she reportedly drinks three litres of water daily), consuming bird's nest, exercising and getting enough sleep.
