Malaysian singer Bella Astillah has extended her best wishes to her ex-husband, Singaporean actor Aliff Aziz, following their divorce.

In a media interview joined by StarLifestyle on Thursday (Aug 8), Bella admitted that she was unaware about Aliff allegedly joining a tabligh (religious) group in his home country.

However, the 30-year-old said she will pray for her ex-husband if he genuinely wanted to change for the better.

“I don’t know about the clip (of Aliff) which is said to be going viral on TikTok and don’t want to comment much.

“If he really changed, then Alhamdulillah. I can only pray for the best if he really wants to change for the better,” said the Sabahan singer.

According to reports, a video showing Aliff with a tabligh group recently went viral on TikTok. In the clip, an ustaz could be heard advising everyone not to be quick to pass judgment on others.

Bella and Aliff, who married in 2016, divorced for a second time on June 13 this year.

The pair first divorced in 2019 after Aliff, 33, was hit with cheating allegations but reconciled in 2020.

Earlier this week, Bella shared that she’s currently at peace and enjoying life with her family and two children after the divorce.

The former couple made headlines in March when religious authorities detained Aliff under suspicion of committing khalwat with local actress Ruhainies, 31.

In another update, Bella is scheduled to perform at the Konsert Jiwa Malaysia 2024 on Sept 7.

The show, set to take place at the National Hockey Stadium in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, will also feature performances by Bunkface, Spider, Hujan, Ruffedge, Insomniacks and Dolla.
