Hong Kong actor Mark Cheng has opened up about his current relationship with his Malaysian ex-wife, Ailyn Pow.

In a recent interview with a media outlet, Cheng expressed nonchalance when asked about his present status with Pow.

“Which ex-wife? I don't even remember this person,” the 59-year-old said, adding that there was no point in remembering his former wife.

“Why should I remember her? There is no point in remembering her.

“It is better to remember other positive things. Our memories shouldn’t be used to remember useless things that take up precious space,” he said.

Cheng and Pow – who married in 2002 – divorced in 2022, according to China Press.

At the time, Cheng – who has been based in China in recent years – claimed Pow had left him along with their two children.

The Tai Chi Boxer star alleged then that his former wife had cheated on him.

Earlier in February, Cheng was reported to have spent Chinese New Year alone in a hotel room.

Before tying the knot with Pow, Cheng was married to Japanese actress Yukari Oshima.

The pair married in 1991 but divorced four years later as they could not spend time together due to their busy schedules.
