Former Hong Kong-based Malaysian actress Lilian Chan Wai Ming is happily working at a cafe in her home country.

This information surfaced after Chinese actress Wong Mei Fan, who starred opposite Chan in the 2000 drama My Date With A Vampire II, posted photos with the latter at her shop.

The pictures shared on Facebook showcased the cafe’s cosy and tastefully decorated interior, along with a lush outdoor area.

Chan also personally prepared a meal for her friend, whom she had not seen since 2012.

Wong captioned her post: “Even though we were in the same city, we never had to meet. This morning, I was surprised to receive her message. We finally got to meet. Everything felt as casual as before.”

At 47, Chan, who hails from Perak, appears to have aged gracefully, retaining most of her youthful appearance since her heydays.

The former ATV actress went to Hong Kong when she was younger to pursue an acting career and gained fame with My Date With A Vampire II.

Chan went on to appear in other Hong Kong productions like Deathnet.com, Bio-Cops and Law 2002 before gradually stepping away from showbiz.

Her last listed work on IMDB.com is the 2003 film A Fight To The Finish 2003.
