On Monday (July 8), actor-singer Aliff Aziz took to Instagram to wish his son happy birthday. Ayden Adrean turned seven.
The 33-year-old Singaporean star added to his son that although he is far away and unable to meet, he hopes only the best for him.
"Daddy misses you and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
"I'm sorry Daddy couldn't be there for you on your special day but my doa (prayers) will always accompany you wherever you go.
"May you continue to grow up to be a smart and handsome young man," Aliff wrote on his Instagram, along with three photos of them together.
In the caption too, Aliff indicated that he and his family members in Singapore had sent gifts for Ayden.
He added that he hopes to meet his two children, who are now under the care of his ex-wife, actress Bella Astillah, soon.
"Daddy loves you... May I see you and Adik again soon," he wrote.
Bella gained custody of the children after their divorce.
In addition to Ayden, Aliff and Bella have a daughter, Ara Adreana, who is four years old.
Aliff and Bella officially divorced on June 13, after eight years of marriage.
Aliff agreed to hand over custody of the children to his ex-wife, while Bella did not claim any mutaah or shared property.
