Hong Kong celebrity couple Shiga Lin and Carlos Chan are set to become parents.

Lin, 35, announced in an Instagram post on Feb 24 that she is pregnant with their first child.

The singer-actress also posted three photos – one of her and Chan showing off the ultrasound pictures and two of the latter caressing Lin's belly.

"I have received the best gift in 2024. I am so touched, grateful and looking forward to Summer BB's arrival," she wrote, adding that she feels a little nervous about parenthood.

Chan, 37, shared the happy news with Hong Kong media.

"We entered another phase of life together in 2023 and are grateful that 2024 is bringing another important milestone for us.

"We are looking forward to welcoming our bundle of joy and believe this little one will bring us infinite joy and happiness," he said, adding that baby is due in July.

The TVB actor previously told reporters that he wants to have "as many kids as possible".

Chan and Lin reportedly met while filming the 2019 travel show, 12 Summers, and had been spotted by the media going on dates shortly after.

The couple tied the knot in a lavish HK$3mil (RM1.68mil) wedding on April 24 last year.
