Hong Kong actress Myolie Wu was recently spotted enjoying durian at a shop in Malaysia, and it appears she wasn’t here alone.

In an Instagram update on Feb 21, Wu’s businessman husband Philip Lee revealed that he was in the country with his wife and three children for a holiday.

His post was accompanied by a lengthy caption documenting his experience in Malaysia and a carousel of photos – including one with his wife at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, another of his three kids at Suria KLCC and eight other pictures.

“There was time for theme parks, water parks, shopping, Malaysian cuisine, swimming and even an animal petting zoo,” wrote the British-born, adding that he had fun tossing yee sang.

Aside from entertaining the young ones, Lee also found time to have a date night with Wu, 44, on Valentines Day – singing karaoke and enjoying some light drinks.

As someone who has tried durian multiple times but never fancied it, Lee said it was “a new breakthrough” when he found himself loving the taste this time.

The Hong Kong-based entrepreneur also learned a new Malay word during his time in the country.

“Kampung – (a word) I saw everywhere in restaurants. It means ‘village’ – right up my tree! This village boy here loves comfort food that is down to earth and delicious. I’m coming back for more!” he wrote.

At the end of his letter, Lee said he might consider living in Malaysia one day.

“As I always say – a country with great people, efficient Grab service, and where I can hear Cantonese, Mandarin, Hakka and English. Maybe I could live here? Until next time KL!”

Wu and Lee started dating in 2014. The couple tied the knot in December 2015 and have three sons together – Brendan, six, Ryan, four, and Liam, two.
