The family comedy Table For Six, released in 2022, is reported as Hong Kong’s all-time box office No.1 comedy.

So it makes sense there is a sequel.

Table For Six 2 is set to open nationwide on Feb 10, with sneak previews on Feb 9.

The original cast members including Stephy Tang, Louis Cheung, Ivana Wong, Lin Min Chen and Peter Chan Charm Man, return for the sequel. It also features new faces namely Tse Kwan Ho, Jeffery Ngai, Ho Kai Wa and Tseung Chi Kwong.

Director Sunny Chan once again explores families and the complicated relationships that exist within this unit.

It all begins with Monica (Tang), who is about to get married to Bernard.

Of course, a wedding is never just about two people – family members from both sides want to have a say in the ceremony like the wealthy Uncle Six (Tse) who is insisting on designing a "unique outfit" for Monica.

Judging from the photos from the movie, there are plenty of other unique outfits too.
