The discord between Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu and her ex-husband, Chinese businessman Wang Xiaofei, appears to be never-ending.

The former couple, who have two children, announced their divorce in November 2021 after 11 years of marriage.

In March 2022, Hsu, 47, married South Korean musician DJ Koo.

Wang recently made an appearance alongside Chinese podcaster Guan Lixin in a live stream, during which he talked about about his lingering feelings for his ex-wife.

On that programme, Wang, 42, claimed that DJ Koo was not living in Taipei and that he had "run away".

He also claimed that Hsu was in poor health and no one was taking care of her.

"I will not forsake her because she's still my ex-wife no matter what," he said.

According to Taiwanese media, DJ Koo has temporarily returned to South Korea for work. It is reported that he will return to Taipei late October to hold an art exhibition, where he will display an artwork he made of Hsu.

When asked by Guan if he was capable of providing the love Hsu needs, Wang responded: "I have been with her for over 10 years, and I know she needs it. She's a female celebrity and she needs love from others."

The businessman also answered "love" when questioned about whether his current feelings towards Hsu were pity or love.

Although Wang said that he will not be marrying Hsu, he later blurted out at the end of the conversation: "Is it possible to remarry Barbie? Is that a bad thing?"

Netizens who came across the video noted that Wang's voice sounded raspy and wondered if he was drunk. Some also speculated that he has yet to move on from the divorce.

Hsu and Wang have been in a war of words on social media since their divorce in 2021.

Last November, Hsu accused Wang of breaching their divorce agreement by failing to provide spousal maintenance. Meanwhile, Wang had been airing his grievances about his ex-wife, her sister Dee Hsu and Dj Koo, alleging infidelity and drug use.

Hsu filed a lawsuit against Wang and her former mother-in-law earlier in August for insulting and defaming her on multiple online platforms since late 2022.
