Speculations over whether Lisa of Blackpink will renew her contract with label YG Entertainment were refueled on Friday.

A rumor started circulating online on the day claiming that she turned down a 50 billion won (RM176mil) offer to resign with the firm. The online chatter even dragged down YG's stock price by up to minus 9% during the day. There were talks about the renewal in July, and the label only said that it was in discussion with the group’s members.
