Hong Kong actor Chow Yun Fat is a well-known jogging enthusiast and continues to retain a toned body at 68 years old.

He is frequently spotted going for his morning runs and would occasionally oblige to a few selfies with fans.

Recently, Chow was spotted jogging along The Bund, a waterfront area in Shanghai. He was in the city to promote his new film, One More Chance.

Being a popular celebrity, many fans started swarming the actor for selfies.

Although Chow was happy to interact with them at first, things took a turn after several fans chased after the actor to film him up close while he was running.

HK01 reported that things got so overwhelming to the point where Chow, known for his friendliness, had to tell them to stop following him.

In a video shared by the news portal, the God Of Gamblers star could also be seen signalling for fans to stop filming him.

Despite his attempts to shake them off, one female fan pursued the actor and insisted on taking a photo with him.

Although Chow obliged to her requests, one netizen on Weibo posted a video of the Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon star looking visibly unhappy as he snapped the photo.

Many social media users have since called for fans to respect the privacy and boundaries of their idols.

They said that although Chow had always been willing to take selfies with fans, he needed his own personal space and time too.
