Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle have reportedly been left out of plans for the procession following the coronation of King Charles III on May 6.

According to leaked rehearsal plans, obtained by The Times of London, there appears to be room for “working royals only.”

The list of those participating includes the King’s sister – Anne, Princess Royal – and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence.

The King’s youngest brother, Prince Edward, and his wife Sophie – the newly titled Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh – will also appear in the procession along with a few other adult royal cousins, Deadline reports.

The King’s shamed brother, Prince Andrew, was not extended an invitation to take part in the procession, nor were his daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie. The event is shaping up to be an estimated third of the size of Queen Elizabeth II’s in 1953.

The leaked information may come as a surprise to some, as Harry and Meghan were officially invited to the coronation earlier this month. However, their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, have not received invitations, reports the Times.

Whether or not Harry and Meghan have chosen to attend has not been disclosed, but they will surely not be joining the procession should they choose to appear.

The Royal Family drama has been in the spotlight often in recent months, made worse by the publication of Prince Harry’s tell-all memoir in January.

Prince William was said to be “furious” over details shared in the book, which talked of a time he had allegedly physically assaulted Harry and called Meghan “difficult” and “rude.”

Although Harry did reunite with his brother and father to walk in Queen Elizabeth’s funeral procession in 2022, it appears he will not be doing so in this next event. – New York Daily News/Tribune News Service
