Malaysian actress Nad Zainal officially tied the knot with local actor Ungku Ismail Aziz last Monday (Jan 23), Berita Harian reported.

In an Instagram post on Sunday, the 32-year-old actress – whose real name is Farah Nadia Zainal Abidin – dropped a series of photos with her hubby from the wedding.

The first photo showed the newlyweds dressed in white, posing in front of a mosque. In the second picture, Ungku can be seen gently kissing his wife on the forehead.

Nad also uploaded a photo of the RM1,000 dowry she received from her husband which included a beautiful gold bracelet too.

According to Kosmo!, Nad and Ungku developed a close relationship after starring together in the Astro Ria drama, Cina Buta.

Last month, the Bukan Bidadari actress did a TikTok live where she expressed her gratitude to Ungku for being by her side in the ICU when she was battling lung infection in November.

"He's really close to me. I really appreciate this person named Ungku Ismail Aziz. He gave me lots of strength and helped answer every speculation (raised by netizens and the media) then," she explained.

Nad previously married Muhammad Faliq Amirullah in December 2015 and welcomed two children in the following years – Fahad Ibrahim, seven, and Budi Kalsom, two.

She ended her seven-year marriage with Faliq last September and has since refused to disclose further information about the reason for the divorce.
