Madonna got a bit of heat for expressing herself.

But now, all is good between the pop icon, 64, and Cardi B – one of the three celebrities Madonna said she blazed a sexual trail for on Friday (Oct 21) while commemorating the 30th anniversary of her controversial coffee table book, “S.E.X.,” which features softcore pornography.

After releasing the 1992 book – whose racy shots include Madonna herself as well as the Express Yourself singer’s “sexual fantasies” and “point of view about sexuality in an ironic way,” as she wrote via an Instagram Story – Madonna said many “tried to shame” her.

“I was called a whore, a witch, a heretic and the devil,” said Madonna. “Now Cardi B can sing about her WAP. Kim Kardashian can grace the cover of any magazine with her naked a— and Miley Cyrus can come in like a wrecking ball.

“You’re welcome,” she ended the post and added a clown emoji.

Cardi B, 30, on Sunday slammed the remarks in a since-deleted tweet.

“I literally payed (sic) this woman homage so many times cause I grew up listening to her,” wrote the Bodak Yellow rapper, E! News reports.

“She can make her point without putting clown emojis and getting slick out the mouth...These icons really become disappointments once u make it in the industry that’s why I keep to myself.”

The New York native retweeted supportive messages from some fans and later updated her followers to say she “talked to Madonna ...It was beautiful.”

The reconciliation was confirmed when Madonna tweeted: “I love you @iamcardib !! Always have and always will.”

“Love you,” Cardi B replied.

At the time of publication, neither Kardashian, 42, nor Cyrus, 29, had responded to Madonna’s comments. – New York Daily News/Tribune News Service
