Alan Walker and DJ Soda to headline Borneo Music Festival 2022 in September

More and more concerts and live shows are being announced now that the borders are fully opened in Malaysia.

The latest event will be a treat for fans of dance music. The first Borneo Music Festival 2022 will be held at Sarawak Cultural Village in Kuching on Sept 9 and 10. Famed DJ, Alan Walker and South Korea's DJ Soda are set to headline the two-day event.

Walker, 24, is best known for his 2015 single Faded which went platinum in 14 countries.

DJ Soda, who has 4.3 million followers on Instagram, is known for her energetic, genre-blending live sets. The 32-year-old recently made news when she was forced to remove her sweatpants with explicit words before being allowed to board a plane in the United States.

Apart from Walker and DJ Soda, other acts confirmed for the two-day event include DJ Alexis Grace, DJ Ice Cream, DJ Chacha, DJ MYVAX and DJ Paul from Malaysia; Nicole Chen from Singapore; DJ X Factor from the Philippines; and DJ Venom C and Moski Love from Indonesia.

Local singers Rynn Lim, ThomasJack, Priscilla Abby as well as bands At Adau and Tuku’ Kame' will also be performing.
