Coda, a low-budget indie about a young woman who is the only hearing member of her family, captured the best performance by a motion picture cast at the 28th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday (Feb 27, US time).
The victory capped an extraordinary run for the film, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival during the height of Covid, where it earned a record-breaking deal from Apple TV+.
