Hong Kong actor Raymond Lam is one busy artiste – juggling his movie, TV and music gigs.
Despite his hectic schedule, Lam revealed that he is hoping to try for a second child with his wife, Chinese model Carina Zhang.
“I heard that a Tiger baby will bring Carina and I good luck. My target is to have three children,” Lam said, adding that he will only try for Baby No.2 later part of the year.
The couple, who got married in 2019, have a one-year-old daughter. Lam is currently busy promoting his latest single, Still Naive, which was released on Valentine's Day.
He said he had no qualms releasing a sad song on a day where love is celebrated as he believes sadness is part of a relationship.
The 42-year-old also had stiff competition as Ian Chan, 28, from the wildly popular boy band Mirror also released his single, Stay A Day With You To Breathe on Valentine's Day
But, Lam – who has been busy filming in China for the past two years – is not familiar with Chan or Mirror and neither is he fazed by the competition. Instead, he sees it as a good thing for the Hong Kong music scene.
At an event to promote the single, Lam explained: “This is great news, as the music industry was a bit quiet before. Now there is some liveliness and everyone can bloom together.”
Lam is currently starring in the film New Kung Fu Cult Master 1, released in Malaysia on Feb 1, where he plays protagonist Zhang Wuji. The movie also stars Louis Koo, Donnie Yen and Janice Man.
