Petronas is ushering in the Chinese New Year by releasing its original drama series directed by award-winning film director, Kabir Bhatia.

Drawing inspiration from the highs and lows of recent years, the seven-episode drama series is anchored upon the overall Petronas 2022 festive campaign themed "Live Again”.

It sets out to portray the resilience, fortitude and togetherness of Malaysians during trying times.

The first episode Day 32, revolves around the main character, Zhi Yi and her family and friends, as they navigate unexpected situations and life’s complexities.

Petronas Senior General Manager of Group Strategic Communications, Datin Anita Azrina Abdul Aziz said: "This is the year where we Malaysians have to pick ourselves up, get back on our feet and learn to live in the evolving new normal.

"Our intention is to inspire our compatriots to dream a new dream, and overcome limitations and the past, in rising and thriving together.

"We at Petronas hope that all Malaysians are excited for what is to come in the Year of the Tiger.

"Let us take heed that that regardless of challenges, we have the strength of the roaring tiger within us.

"We are not alone and through the bonds we forge, making up all the pieces that complete us as stronger Malaysians.” – Bernama
