Korean actress Kim Mi-soo passed away on Wednesday (Jan 5). She was 29.
The Snowdrop star’s death was confirmed by her agency Landscape Entertainment. However, it did not disclose the cause of death.
In a statement to Korean media, the agency said: “Kim suddenly passed away on Jan 5.
“The bereaved family is heartbroken by the news.
“Please refrain from reporting false rumours or speculation so that the family can mourn in peace.”
“As per her family’s wishes, the funeral will be held quietly in private.”
Kim, who made her acting debut in 2018, had appeared in a number of K-dramas namely Hi Bye Mama, Into The Ring, The School Nurse Files, Yumi’s Cells and Hellbound.
In the ongoing series Snowdrop, she plays the supporting role of student activist Yeo Jung-min, who stays in the same dormitory as the female protagonist (Blackpink’s Jisoo).
Kim would have turned 30 on March 16.
