Fans of Ed Sheeran will be delighted to know that the singer is performing an online concert this Saturday (Nov 13) in support of his new album. In this Joox-exclusive live concert, paid VIPs of the music streaming platform from Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand and Myanmar will gain access to this virtual show.

"Joox continues to deliver world-class live events such as the exclusive online concert by Ed Sheeran, one of the biggest music stars in the world. This not only guarantees to wow all of his fans in Asia, but also celebrates the addition of his brand-new album to the ever-growing list of songs for Joox paid VIPS to enjoy," Angie Tan, head of Joox Malaysia said.

Sheeran released his fourth album titled = (Equals), a follow-up to his 2017's Divide, on Oct 29. The new album has since hit No.1 on the Billboard 200 charts.

The 30-year-old was met with some unexpected challenges as he contracted Covid-19 just days before the album's scheduled release. This led to him having to move many of his promotions online. Fortunately, Sheeran has made a full recovery from the virus.

When speaking on his upcoming performance on Joox, the British artiste said: "My new album = is a personal record and one that means a lot to me. I consider this my coming-of-age record, and I can’t wait to share it and perform the songs to Asian music fans through Joox."

Sheeran is said to perform some of his latest hit singles such as Bad Habits, Shivers, Overpass Graffiti and Visiting Hours in the virtual show.
