Actor Stephen Amell, who's known to make headlines for his ripped physique, created some online ruckus recently when he posted a shirtless photo of himself on his social media accounts.
“Happy Saturday. Pop on some pink shorts and read Gary’s book. But only if you want to be smarter,” he wrote in the post which shows the actor wearing a pair of swim shorts and holding a copy of Gary Janetti‘s book Do You Mind If I Cancel?.
While fans swoon at the photo – calling it a thirst trap – haters and trolls, felt the need to tell the former Arrow star that he is out of shape
"What happened to the Arrow body?", "Where is the Oliver Queen's physique", "Dad bod!" and "No villains, no six-packs", were some of the comments left for Amell, 40.
While some celebs don't pay heed to negative comments, Amell felt the need to address it.
In a post a few days later, the actor wrote: "Public service announcement: I’m 6’1 inches tall and 208 lbs. I’m in tremendous shape and I’m strong as sh*t.
"I’m a 24 hour juice cleanse away from blowing the season 1 poster for Arrow out of the water. We did the photography for that poster a little over 9 years ago.
"Next time I post a photo in my hot pink skivvies, I’ll try and remember to flex!"
He ended the post by saying: "And if that isn’t good enough, send me your address. I will show up to steal your boyfriend or your girlfriend."
On Wednesday (Sept 29), Amell took to his Facebook to post yet another photo to prove his point. The mirror selfie showed the actor with his famous six-pack and he captioned it: "Maybe it was the pink shorts, LOL."
