Radio host Roslinda Abdul Majid better known as DJ Lin has bagged the Most Trusted Radio Presenter in Reader’s Digest list of Malaysia Most Trusted Brands Awards And Personalities.
Some 8,000 people were polled in the survey in which they chose the personalities and brands that they preferred the most.
DJ Lin said in a press statement that she is grateful to be the recipient of this honour.
“The award is truly meaningful in my career as DJ Lin, the radio presenter,” said the host of the popular radio programme Suria Cinta, and the general manager of the Malay-langugage radio station, Suria.
“This will inspire me to work even harder and to elevate Suria to a higher standard."
“The award is further proof that the DJ Lin brand is gaining the trust of the listeners. Thank you Reader’s Digest and to all Malaysians who have voted and supported me all these years.”
In her 22-year career working in the Malaysia radio industry, DJ Lin has bagged eight awards thus far.
They are Anugerah Sri Angkasa (which she has won three times in the Best Radio Presenter category); Anugerah Bintang Popular Berita Harian (snagging the Most Popular Radio Announcer award thrice) and Anugerah Kesatria Puteri (Industri Radio) Himpunan Wanita Muda Negara 2012. The latest brings to a total of eight.
