South Korean singer-actor Cha Eun-woo recently appeared on the programme Mantul House – available on YouTube – and tried eating durian and mangosteen.
The member of boy band Astro joined hosts Jang Hansol and Han Yoo-ra on the show as they check out fruits sent to them from Indonesia.
In the video, the 24-year-old said he had tried mango and dragon fruit before but not mangosteen and durian.
Han, who had studied in Indonesia, explained to Cha how to open a mangosteen, while Jang cut open the durian for Cha.
The True Beauty actor really liked the taste of mangosteen.
Meanwhile, he likened the smell of durian to that of a flu medicine which confused Han, who convinced him to smell the fruit one more time. This time Cha concluded politely that the smell of durian is definitely unique.
He took two small bites of the durian and he was apparently done. It's a good thing then, both the hosts love the king of fruits.
