It was revealed last Friday (March 12) that the first 10 minutes of the K-drama Vincenzo featuring actor Song Joong-ki in Italy was achieved digitally.

South Korea broadcasting channel tvN shared this on its YouTube channel, which was then shared by fans via Twitter and other social media platforms.

Watch the video below.

Vincenzo centres on Vincenzo Cassano (Song), a lawyer who works for the mafia. But due to a war between the Italian groups, our protagonist goes back to South Korea.

But having grown up away from Korea since he was eight, there is a lot of adjusting Vincenzo needs to go through.

In the first episode, we see this character – Song looking striking in a three-piece suit – walking to meet his client against the backdrop of Italy. There are the scenic views of vineyards and interiors of various buildings in Italy.

As the video above reveals, the actual set where Song filmed were mostly against green screen and empty spaces, with some props and set designs.

Vincenzo – available on Netflix – has a total of 20 episodes with six episodes available at the moment.
