Is there a new power couple in K-pop?
Korean entertainment news outlet Dispatch reported on Wednesday (Feb 24) that G-Dragon of BigBang and Jennie from Blackpink have been in a relationship for about a year.
In the report, it details that these two celebrities often had their dates at home, explaining that G-Dragon has a personal parking space and a private lift to his apartment allowing Jennie access without anyone finding out her identity.
It also stated that their relationship is not a secret at YG Entertainment, the management agency that handles both BigBang and Blackpink.
Shortly after the report came out, YG Entertainment issued a statement that said: “We cannot confirm anything about our artistes’ personal lives. We ask for your understanding.”
Jennie has appeared in G-Dragon's music video That XX in 2012 and was featured in his 2013 solo track Black.
