Kanye West and Kim Kardashian getting divorce: report

Rapper Kanye West and TV personality Kim Kardashian's six-year marriage is coming to an end, celebrity gossip site Page Six is reporting.

Kardashian has even hired top celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser to represent her, according to the site.

According a source, West’s political ambition contributed to the rift between the couple.

“She is serious about taking the bar exam and becoming a lawyer, she is serious about her prison reform campaign. Meanwhile Kanye is talking about running for president and saying other crazy s**t, and she’s just had enough of it, ” Page Six quoted the source.

Meanwhile TMZ reported that the couple have been attending counselling hoping to salvage the marriage. However, they have been living separately - West in Wyoming, Kardashian in California.

West and Kardashian, who married in 2014, have four children North, seven; Saint, five; Chicago, two; and Psalm, one.
