Tamil movie actor Rajinikanth, who was admitted to the hospital on Christmas Day after his blood pressure fluctuated, has recovered.
The 70-year-old was discharged on Dec 27 after his blood pressure stabilised, but has been advised to take one week bed rest and avoid stress.
The Indian superstar was in the midst of shooting his movie, Annaatthe, when filming was suspended on Dec 23 after some crew members tested positive for Covid-19.
It was reported that four people were found infected with the coronavirus, but Rajinikanth's test was negative.
He quarantined himself to be safe, which was when his blood pressure fluctuated and was admitted to the hospital.
The film had resumed production this month in Hyderabad, after being disrupted due to the lockdown.
