The festival Karwa Chauth, celebrated in India, fell on Nov 4-5 this year. It sees married women fast from sunrise to moonrise, and pray for the well-being of their husbands.
A few Bollywood actresses took to Instagram to share photos of them celebrating the festival.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas (Quantico) who lives in Los Angeles, California, with husband Nick Jonas, and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’s Kajol who is currently staying in Singapore – keeping her college-going daughter company – did not miss out on observing Karwa Chauth either.
While most of them kept to a straightforward photos and caption, Kajol posted five photos captioning them as the Hunger Games series.

It was reported that due to Covid-19, celebrations of the festival was restricted this year.
Nonetheless, actor Anil Kapoor's wife, Sunita Kapoor, organised a get-together at her house attended by several known names including Shilpa Shetty who posted the video with the caption,"... Have to say this year was different, but we all got tested and were negative, a prerequisite to attend but appreciated by us all."
