Black Eyed Peas' new music video 'Action' features Rajinikanth's film

The American group Black Eyed Peas has a new music video out for its song Action and the music video features a number of over-the-top action sequences taken from Kollywood and Bollywood movies.

There are scenes from Rajinikanth's Enthiran, Vishal's Ambala and Ajay Devgn's Singham to name a few.

According to a report on The Indian Express, the action scenes in the music video are identical to the film they are taken from, except the faces of the actors have been replaced with faces of Black Eyed Peas' members.

Besides Indian films, Action also features a scene from a 2003 Swedish action comedy, Kopps.

At the start and the end of the video, the music video has a warning in the same format as Star Wars opening crawl.

The intro reads: "This video was made with DEEP FAKE technology... Do not believe everything you see..."

On its official YouTube channel, the group noted: "The Black Eyed Peas have been inspired by Indian culture from the beginning of our career... From Asha Bhosle to A.R Rahman, Indian music has influenced our songs on more than one occasion...This video for ACTION shows our LOVE and appreciation for BOLLYWOOD and the imagination and awesomeness it brings to the screen... Thank you INDIA & BOLLYWOOD!!!"
