Michael Miu, who recently starred in the hit TVB series Line Walker, had a supernatural encounter once at a hotel in Malaysia.
Miu recalled the incident on Hong Kong talk show, Tiger's Talk. The actor had just checked into his Kuala Lumpur hotel room to rest after long hours of filming.
It all started with a mysterious sound coming from the toilet that kept him awake.
"So I went to the toilet to check. But the moment I opened the door, the sound stopped. And when I went back to bed, the sound continued."
Hours later, a dark, shadowy figure appeared before him and he felt pinned to the bed, unable to move.
After that experience, Miu's bodyguard decided to bunk in with him and slept on the floor near him.
When Miu awoke the next morning, his bodyguard was nowhere to be found. And yet again, he felt unable to move.
"Then I saw an old man crouched on the exact spot my bodyguard had slept on, looking at me," he continued.
"I told the old man I'm just here to earn a living. If you don't like me, I'll leave soon."
Immediately, he could move again. He then contacted his bodyguard to ask about his whereabouts.
"The bodyguard said he woke up a few hours earlier and felt a force pinning down his body. The pressure was so strong he showed me his leg, it was swollen.
"He saw that I was sleeping well and didn't want to disturb me so he left the room."
Meanwhile, actor-singer Bosco Wong also shared his experience at a hotel in Ipoh on the same talk show.
Wong entered his hotel room and slotted in his key card, expecting the lights to turn on.
"I waited for it to turn on but it didn't. Seeing this, my bodyguard, who usually follows closely behind me, refused to enter the room after me."
Wong continued walking further into the room and just as he reached the bed, the lights came on. He then decided to change rooms.
"I didn't see anything but I felt very uneasy."
